Grooved anti-slip board, PTV above 36, for jetties, ramps, arena walkways and public terraces. Nothing organic for algae to live on, so the grip lasts without scrubbing or anti-slip paint. 15-year warranty.
Grip, in the places where a wet surface is a real liability. One face is grooved, so water breaks up and runs off instead of sitting in a film on top. Measured slip resistance is PTV above 36 – the range that pendulum testing treats as low slip potential.
Timber gets slippery for a different reason: algae. Wood feeds it. This board has nothing organic for algae, mould or insects to live on, so the grip it has on the day of handover is the grip it has years later, without scrubbing or a coat of anti-slip paint.
The widest board of the three, so a square metre goes down in fewer passes and with fewer joints to detail.
An ordinary saw and ordinary screws. No special tools and no training for your crew – anyone who has built a timber deck can build this one. Spans, expansion gaps and joist detail are in the decking manual below; the material moves with temperature, so the gaps are not optional.
Nothing to oil. Nothing to sand. Nothing to paint. No board to swap out after the third winter, and no call-back from your client about a soft plank or a splinter. That is the whole case against timber: the purchase price is not the cost – fifteen years of upkeep is.

The colour settles after roughly 45-60 days of UV exposure. A recycled product may show small differences in shade and weight between batches. This does not affect how it performs.
