This project uses Ecoplank stabilising mats as a base layer under equestrian footing. The mats strengthen the ground and help prepare the area for everyday horse use.
This layer is not visible in the finished surface. However, it plays an important role in the whole system. It helps reduce sinking and supports better surface stability.
Outdoor equestrian areas need a strong base. Horses use them every day, and the ground must handle moisture, weather changes and regular movement. Ecoplank mats help create a more durable and practical surface for paddocks, turnout areas and other horse facilities.
