This project uses Ecoplank stabilising mats under the surface of a horse lungeing ring in Masuria. It shows how important the base layer is in equestrian facilities. The most important part of the surface often starts below the visible top layer.
Ecoplank mats help reinforce the ground, reduce surface sinking and prepare the area for intensive use. In a lungeing ring, this matters because the ground has to handle regular horse movement, moisture and changing weather conditions.
The mats help create a stronger and more organised base for the next surface layers. This makes them a practical solution for equestrian facilities where durability, everyday comfort and easier surface maintenance are important over time.
